oHours | Expand Your Network and Learn Something New

Nate Westheimer is a serial entrepreneur and early-stage investor based in New York City. With years of experience in new age technology, ranging from the entertainment industry to working as a Technical Strategist for National Public Media, Nate’s skill and experience is highly valued. Realizing this, Nate decided to offer 1.5 hours of his time each week to meet new people who he otherwise would not have.

In the two years since he began his OfficeHours experiment on his personal website Nick has expanded his network by a staggering 100 people. In Nick’s words, “OfficeHours are my way of spending time face to face with more people.” If you are interested in meeting new people and engaging in interesting conversations, join oHours and start hosting or attending OfficeHours of your own!

The oHours website allows visitors to create accounts the old-fashioned way or by linking their Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn profiles. Once a member simply decide whether you would like to schedule a meeting with another user who made time available or if you would like to allow people to meet with you. By filling out a simple form you post a profile which includes a short bio – take your time to write something that best describes who you are and what you hope to achieve by participating in oHours.
